Welcome to Appleby Horse Fair website
This is the official site for Appleby Fair set up by public sector agencies who co-ordinate the Fair, to make the event safer and more enjoyable for everyone. The Fair is an annual gathering of Gypsies and Travellers in the town of Appleby in Cumbria, which takes place on the first week in June, from Thursday to the following Wednesday, but this is essentially a weekend event the main days being the Friday, Saturday and Sunday, for the 2011 Fair this will be 3-5 June.
We want to hear what you think about the way Appleby Fair 2011 is co-ordinated. Your comments will form part of the public evaluation process that the public agencies hold after the Horse Fair each year. Click here to complete a feedback form. Please email back to brian.morris@cumbriacc.gov.uk or post back to the freepost address on the form.
