Information on temporary stopping places - Alston

This map gives details of temporary stopping arrangements at Alston.

Makepeace's field adjacent to the A686 just outside Alston will, depending on weather conditions, be available for horse drawn bow tops and a small number of caravans. The field is kindly provided by Mr R Makepeace, Black House Farm , Park Lane , Alston , Cumbria CA9 3AB.

Please note that you MUST obtain the permission of the landowner BEFORE entering the field.

Toilet facilities and bin bags will be provided on the field.

Occupancy is restricted to the following dates:

• Monday 23 May to Friday 3 June 2011 and
• Monday 6 June to Friday 10 June 2011

Please note that caravans and bow tops will not be able to stop at Tyne Willows.
