Information on temporary stopping places - Sandford

Caravans, bow tops and horses can only be accommodated in the area shown in green on the plan, ie along either side of the road leading from the A66 towards Sandford village.

Please note that no vehicles or horses are allowed beyond the railway bridge. The roadside verges can accommodate approximately ten to fifteen caravans / bow tops. Only very limited space is available for horse grazing on the roadside verges.

No facilities are provided at Sandford, however, bin bags will be provided and subsequently collected from the roadside.
