Information on temporary stopping places - Warcop

Warcop is a traditional overnight stopping place for horse drawn bow tops but please note that there is very little grazing available for horses.

No vehicle drawn caravans are allowed to stop in Warcop village.

A Traffic Regulation Order will be in place in Warcop which prevents vehicles from parking on the roadside or roadside verges. Anyone contravening the Order will face a fixed penalty fine and their vehicles may be towed away.

The map identifies areas where horses can be tethered, areas where bow tops are allowed and also areas which should not be used. Please respect the boundaries identified on the plan and in particular do not allow horses into the area occupied by the childrens play equipment.

Toilet facilities will be provided, but not until Wednesday 1 June 2011.

Bin bags will be provided and subsequently collected.
