Information on temporary stopping places - Watergate Bottom (Watter Yat), Mallerstang

A temporary stopping place providing accommodation for up to 60 caravans is available at Watergate Bottom (known locally as Watter Yat), at Mallerstang near Kirkby Stephen. The attached plan shows the location of the land.

Please note that you do not have a legal right to be on this land and the Police, local Council or landowner can evict you at any time.

Toilet facilities will be provided approximately one week prior to the Fair and rubbish collection arrangements will be in place. Please ensure all rubbish is bagged and take care not to allow objects or pollution to enter the River Eden.
